Patrick Groothuis will become the new university secretary. Groothuis starts in his new role on June 1st The Executive Board has appointed Patrick Groothuis as university secretary and director of General Affairs of Eindhoven University of Technology. He will start in his new position on June 1 . Groothuis has been working at the TU/e since 2012 and for the last seven years as director of Education & Student Affairs (ESA). The new secretary succeeds Susanne van Weelden, who is stepping down after four years. Groothuis began his TU/e career in 2012 as director of operations for the department of Mathematics & Computer Science. After almost four years, he became director of Education & Student Affairs (ESA).
