Zofia Lukszo joins UvA Supervisory Board

The Dutch Minister of Education, Culture and Science has appointed Prof. Zofia Lukszo as a member of the Supervisory Board of the University of Amsterdam. The appointment begins on 26 August 2023 and is for a period of four years. Lukszo succeeds Pauline Meurs, who resigns from the Supervisory Board as of the same date in accordance with the retirement schedule. Zofia Lukszo (1959) is professor of Smart Energy Systems at Delft University of Technology, where she leads interdisciplinary research projects in the field of intelligent energy systems. Lukszo also holds various administrative and advisory positions. For example, she is chairperson of the financial committee of The Green Village , a testing ground for sustainable innovations and the valorisation of scientific research. At TU Delft, she is also a board member of Powerweb (an interfaculty institute in the field of Smart Grids), a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Board, and chairperson of DEWIS (Delft Women in Science).
