Utrecht Science Week 2023: together towards a healthy, sustainable society

The third edition of Utrecht Science Week focuses on the power of innovation and collaboration towards a healthy, sustainable society. From Friday 29 September to Sunday 8 October, the Utrecht Science Park will open its doors for students, professionals and all other interested parties to meet and exchange knowledge. Everyone is welcome.

The Utrecht Science Week offers a varied programme including the Betweterfestival, the symposium ’The future of our Water’, a Hackaton Lab ’Sustainability on the Utrecht Science Park’(by invitation only), a ’Dialogue on animal husbandry’ and many other great activities.

One of the activities open to all is ’The hospital of the future’. Here, UMC Utrecht opens its doors to everyone to get acquainted with the latest developments at UMC Utrecht.

During the Sustainability Day on 3 October, this year a co-production of HU and UU, Reint Jan Renes will speak about the psychology of behavioural change in a sustainability transition. In addition, Cyrille Krul (HU) and Karin Rebel (UU) will share in a joint keynote on how UU and HU are working on their sustainable ambitions.

On the Utrecht Science Week website you can find the complete programme and sign up for the session of your choice.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the many great sessions!
