Tilburg University involves people with intellectual disabilities in doing research

Tilburg University's Academic Collaborative Center on Living with Intellectual Disabilities (in Dutch: AWVB) has developed a training course that introduces people with intellectual disabilities to conducting scientific research. Academic lead, professor Petri Embregts: "The training is an ultimate good practice to professionalize client participation and give clients the opportunity to participate in thinking and advising on care research that is - also - about them."
