Maastricht scientists are working on a device that can measure how many vitamins are in vegetables. This test will make it easier for vegetable growers to see whether or not their product contains enough healthy substances. But the US space agency NASA is also interested in this research. The test could be interesting for future space missions to Mars. Astronauts will then have to grow their own vegetables and the Maastricht invention could help. Watch this Dutch broadcast on L1
