National Week Without Meat & Dairy 2025

The National Week Without Meat and Dairy will take place from 3 to 9 March. TU Delft is also participating by providing all FoodCity catering outlets on campus with a fully vegetarian range. In addition, food trucks are also offering vegetarian dishes this week.

Lunchlezing: Duurzaamheidsstrategie - Eten & drinken op de campus

Following this week the lunch lecture -Sustainability strategy - Food & beverage on campuswill take place on 6 March. Sander van Raam, TU Delft Process Manager Food & Beverage, will take you through the sustainability strategy for food and beverages on campus. From the impact of our choices and the Eat Lancet guidelines to the challenges of change and reducing CO2 emissions. Of course, it is also possible to ask questions. There are a limited number of spots available, so sign up quickly!

The lunch lecture is open to students and staff of TU Delft. The lecture starts at 12.45 pm in CEG , Lecture Hall G (23.S2.1.38), with a free vegan lunch from 12.30 pm. Registration is required.

Vegan dishes at Cafe X

During the Week Without Meat and Dairy at Cafe X, the changing weekly menu is vegan and there are also a lot of vegetarian and vegan dishes on the regular menu.

Weekly menu

  • Falafel Burger with a spinach bun and vegan beetroot garlic sauce. 7,50
  • Oriental Platter with a Tjap Tjoy Vietnamese spring roll, cassava crackers, rice and sambal goreng tempeh. 9,50
  • Spinach soup with vegan feta. 4,-

There are also several vegetarian and vegan dishes on the regular menu: From a hummus bowl to a pokebowl with tempeh and tofu.
