On Friday 9 and Saturday 10 September 2022, the annual reunion of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) took place in Legrena, Greece.
The reunion comprised a two-day conference. The theme for this year was ’ Climate Change and Public Law: Challenges, Policies, Future Perspectives ’. Various speakers gave a presentation on this theme which led to interesting questions and discussions.
The EPLO is an international organisation dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the area of public law, including inter alia national, comparative and European public law, human rights law, and environmental law.
Scholars, judges, and lawyers from all over Europe attended the EPLO reunion, including a large delegation from the Netherlands. Demy Jongkind, PhD candidate, and Annemarie Drahmann, Associate Professor, both from the Department of Constitutional and Administrative law of Leiden Law School, also attended the conference.
