The integrity & social safety reporting point was opened today, 3 April. This is a new link in TU Delft’s existing reporting structure. Employees, students and others with a relationship to TU Delft can report signals and concerns there. The reporting point will be part of TU Delft’s existing integrity system. This includes confidential advisors, ombuds officers, complaints committees and other internal help lines. Together, these form a network where everyone can have access to appropriate support.
All help lines are easy to find and clear
To help everyone find their way, an Integrity & Social Safety Support Guide has been developed. It is a step-by-step guide to the options and next steps when you have experienced or observed something that is not okay. The guide shows you the way, whether you need information, want to talk to someone you can trust, or want to make a report (anonymously or not) through the SpeakUp digital platform.
Signals get appropriate follow-up
Every organisation, including TU Delft, needs procedures to ensure that things that go wrong are reported and dealt with in a timely manner, that reports are handled carefully and that lessons can be learned from the results - by the people involved and by the organisation. The starting point of the hotline is that signals are not left unaddressed, but are followed up appropriately. This requires customisation, care and expertise.
Reporting point with expert staff
The reporting point has been established with input from internal and external experts and in close collaboration with stakeholders. It is staffed by well-trained, experienced integrity advisors. You can contact them with reports concerning social, organisational and/or scientific integrity. The aim is not only to register reports, but also to work together to find solutions and appropriate follow-up. In this way, we do justice to all concerned and contribute to learning and trust.
