With this new approach, the Technical Medicine programme aims to improve student’s learning experience and strengthen collaboration with internship departments. This allows students to learn in environments where conditions are optimal for their development. To qualify for the two-year premium status, TM internships are evaluated on several criteria:
The first 16 premium departments (top 10%) for the academic years 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 have now been recognised by a special premium committee.
Benefits for premium departments and students
Premium departments are guaranteed at least one M2 student per semester, except for the June term. This allows departments to better tailor their processes and guidance to the needs of students. Incidentally, students are still placed based on their preferences. They enter their preferences within the full range of M2 TM placements, seeing which departments have premium status. M3 students retain the ability to choose their placements. The first premium departments have already shared their pride on. We look forward to continuing these positive developments!
