Johan Willem van Dijk new director HR of Erasmus University Rotterdam

Johan Willem van Dijk will be the new HR director of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) as of October 1, 2024. Van Dijk has many years of relevant work experience in various HR positions with final responsibility. He is currently working as Director of People & Organization at the Province of South Holland. Before that, he worked as Head of Human Resource Management at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW). With his broad knowledge and extensive experience in Human Resources within the public sector, with him we have found a worthy successor to Lieke Skidmore-Vencken.

EUR is looking forward to Van Dijk’s arrival. Ellen van Schoten, Vice President of the Executive Board: "Johan Willem van Dijk brings extensive experience in the HR field and knowledge of complex organizations. As a connector he knows how to show the people-oriented leadership that we are looking for within EUR. Van Dijk, who studied Public Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam, is looking forward to his new role: "I am very much looking forward to starting at Erasmus University!
